Aberdeenshire Youth Crushed At Work

Police investigating the death of a young man from Aberdeenshire village Portlethen early on 3rd January have made appeals for any eye-witnesses to his death.

David Cruickshank, 20, was by a lifting machine at his Aberdeenshire workplace and died before he arrived at hospital.

Grampian Police said the company, which has not been named, is under investigation into the circumstances of his death.

Detectives had appealed for information following the death in which so far no witnesses have been questioned about how Mr Cruickshank died.
